Welcome to the World of Red Raven

Handmade & Curated Products for the Less Ordinary

World of Red Raven brings together handmade and curated products with character — from pieces shaped in clay, thread, paint and cast to rooted rituals, curious finds and other objects chosen to mean a little more.

Some are made slowly in our own studio in The Netherlands. Others are carefully selected for their story, symbolism, humour or quiet strangeness.

Take your time. Wander. Discover something a little less ordinary.

Made by Hand. Chosen with Character.

World of Red Raven grew from a love of objects that feel personal rather than mass-produced. Our own work begins in the studio, where clay, thread, paint, illustration and cast forms become pieces that retain the marks of how they were made. Alongside them sit carefully curated finds chosen not simply to fill the shelves, but because they bring something of their own — character, meaning, humour, ritual or a little unexpected oddness.

That balance between handmade and curated shapes everything here. We favour personality over perfect repetition, considered choices over disposable trends, and pieces that can become part of a home, a ritual or an everyday habit rather than simply passing through it.

Rooted in creativity, conscious choices and a touch of witchery, everything here has been made or chosen for people who would rather surround themselves with things that have something to say.

Behind all this is Babette’s story — and the creative path that grew into the Red Raven Pottery studio and the World of Red Raven you’ve stepped into today.

    Do you use AI?

Yes, selectively. We use AI to help with labor-intensive tasks such as background editing and drafting or refining copy for our vast and expanding collection, always with a final human edit.

What we don’t use it for is making our products look better than they really are. Colors, shapes, textures and little handmade imperfections are kept true to the actual piece.

What you see is what you get: handmade with its characteristic tiny flaws, or carefully curated with intention.
