Collection: Handmade Ceramics – Red Raven Pottery

When the ordinary begins to blur, handmade pieces bring it back into focus.

Red Raven Pottery is a collection of handmade ceramics shaped slowly in my studio in the Netherlands. Moving between pottery, ceramic art and more unexpected forms, each piece carries its own texture, presence and character - sometimes quiet, sometimes quirky, never quite ordinary.

Made to be used, displayed or simply kept close, these pieces bring something more personal to everyday spaces. Expect tactile forms, curious details and ceramic home decor that still carries the marks of the hands that made it.

Find the piece that speaks to you - and carry a little less ordinary into your everyday.

Handmade Pottery, Ceramic Art & Curious Forms

Every piece in Red Raven Pottery begins in our studio in the Netherlands, shaped and finished by hand in small batches or as a one-off. Some pieces are made to be used, others simply to catch the eye — from tactile everyday pottery to quirky ceramics and characterful ceramic home decor. Each is created with an appreciation for irregular forms, expressive surfaces and details that give it a character of its own.

Because these are handmade ceramics, small differences in shape, glaze, texture and finish are part of what makes each piece individual. Rather than aiming for factory-perfect repetition, Red Raven Pottery embraces the marks of the making process and the unexpected turns that happen along the way.

Each piece passes through several stages before it reaches the shelf, from shaping and drying to glazing and firing. The process takes time, and the kiln always leaves a little room for surprise. Colors may break differently across a surface, textures can shift, and no two finishes behave in exactly the same way. Those variations are part of what gives handmade work its depth, presence and individuality.
